Chris Dorman Strength & Conditioning, provides a number of different services in relation to physical preparation, rehabilitation and reconditioning, nutrition, health, wellness and performance. Please see categories below.

 

Strength & Conditioning

Want to get stronger and better conditioned for your sport or event? 10 years in professional sport (AFL & NRL), and 20 years in the industry, has equipped me with the knowledge and skillsets necessary to guide you through the process of elevating both individual and team performance.

-Sports/Event Specific Training; Speed, Agility, Fitness/Conditioning.

-Strength, power and hypertrophy.

-Movement, coordination and motor control.

-Foundational and physical development.

-Individual Sessions, Small Groups, Team Training, and Consulting options available.

 

Endurance Coaching

Endurance sports athletes, technology is a must! . GPS, Heart Rate, Power meters, all the data and metrics require tracking, analysis for informed decision making. Sports Science skills will allow me to do this for you! Predominantly a remote/online service.

-Runners; Marathoners, Trail & Ultra runners.

-Triathletes/Ironman.

-Cyclists.

 

Individual Needs

We all have limitations, restrictions, weaknesses, imbalances, injuries, illness. This dictates the need for individualized training. A broad range of skills are necessary to accommodate the many and varied presentations that may arise. 

-Rehabilitation from injuries and surgeries.

-Reconditioning from an injury, illness or layoff, back to peak performance.

-Nutrition, for health, wellness and performance.

ENDURANCE COACHING SERVICE

A coaching service for the highly motivated Runner and Endurance athlete. The coaching fee of $80 constitutes 4 weeks of service, entailing an agile approach to coaching. Submit your GPS and Heart Rate training files, electronically and receive day to day and session to session contact, with short communications (email/Messenger etc.) around reviewing, tracking and prescribing subsequent sessions, systematically evolving the plan to build resiliency, the aerobic system and ultimately, perform better.

Please note, an initial consultation (purchase of an Individual Session-$75), locally or online, must be purchased to kick start the relationship. This allows for a thorough review of previous training histories, results, GPS files, perceived problems and goal events.

Strength & Conditioning Sessions.

1 hour blocks of service. Whether it be locally or online format, sessions will run approximately 1 hour, but can be longer if required and will be charged accordingly (several hours can be purchased together i.e., workshops). Sessions are designed to assess, identify and solve training problems, providing multifactorial interventions and recommendations. Includes a follow up email of notes summarizing the recommendations. It is recommended that the purchase of further service and sessions, to ensure continuous progression.

ONLINE/REMOTE COACHING (phone, Messenger, Skype, Zoom calls).

30 minute blocks for $45 that can be purchased whenever troubleshooting for your program is necessary i.e. once a week/fortnight/month. This service includes a follow up email of notes summarizing the discussion. Please note that it is highly recommended that you purchase further service to first to ensure progression in your pursuits.

Research

I have an insatiable hunger for new knowledge surrounding the human body, the human condition and human performance. There is no end point to the wealth of knowledge there is out there and it is evolving quickly. Therefore,  constantly reading, listening, researching and practicing, if I foresee a plausible mechanism to benefit my pursuits, I will give it a go.
